Green Cave
On a south side of the island Vis is situated small island Ravnik. On its southwest side is Green Cave. We will be there arround 11:15 am. Through a crack in the ceiling of the cave the sun's rays reflecting with a greenish color and creating a captivating light effects. The name "green" comes from the greenish glow of the sea, whis is the result of multitude of green algae, which is located at the bottom of the cave's entrances. The cave has two large entrances and is quite spacious so small motorboats can enter. Swimming is allowed. Green cave is wonderful work of nature and therefore is particularly attractive diving location.
Blue Cave
Blue cave is located on the eastern side of the island Biševo, near island Vis. Cave is available to the public since 1884, when citizens of Vis opened the enterance trough which today visitors enter the cave with a small rowing boat. Cave's natural entrance is below sea level so before people could only enter diving. From then until today the cave has become number one destination for tourists from around the world. What amazes its visitors is the natural phenomenon that creates magical blue effect and silver shine. Cave is is best to visit around noon when the sun creates impression of blue sky.
Stiniva beach
Stiniva is attractive because of its unusual looks. The entrance from the sea is relatively narrow (4-5m) then the bay opens nd ends with a beautiful beach. They say that in the past Stiniva was in fact a cave but something caused the collapse of its ceiling. It can not be reached by car because there is no road so its natural beauty is preserved. There is only a goat path that goes down to the bay. Stiniva is one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia.
Bonus place
Depending on group wishes and weather conditions we are visiting one more bonus place on Vis: Seal Monk's Cave, sandy beach Stončica, the smallest beach on Vis, Budikovac green lagoon, town Vis or town Komiža.
